Q. Are you fully trained ?

A. Yes.

We take cleaning very seriously and take courses annually, this keeps us up to date with the latest cleaning methods and cleaning standards you would expect. We also attend many cleaning shows throughout the UK to research new cleaning methods and techniques.

Q. How long does it take to clean my carpets and upholstery ?

A. To an extent that depends on on how clean/dirty your carpet or upholstery is and how much furniture there is to move. We can give you an estimated time when you book. An adverage three piece suite takes 2-3 hours, again depending on soil level. Carpets 1-3 hours, again depending.

Q. Do i need to move furniture ?

A. All we ask is that valuable items are removed and cabinets are emptied, delicate items such as vases, plants and breakables are moved by you and we shall move all heavy items.

Q. Can you remove all of the stains ?

A. A full survey is carried out prior to you agreeing to employ our services. Most stains can be removed, however we will always point out to you the permanant stains so you are aware of the likely results we will achieve.

Q. Why should i use you when i can hire a machine and do it myself ?

A. We are professionally trained, we have an in-depth knowledge of textiles and different compositions manufacturers use along with the recommended cleaning products which are only available to the trade. Hire machines are hardly adequate when compared to our industrial machinery. When it comes to the cleaning solutions hire companies supply, they will be very cheap and inferior to our specialist products. Unless you have a basic understanding of chemistry, steer very clear of doing it yourself, you may do more damage than good.

Q. Are you insured ?

A. Yes, we have 2 million pound public liability insurance with "treatments risk" cover as recommended by the national carpet cleaners association ( NCCA ), this covers us for any unforeseen problems that may arise from working on your furnishings. A copy of our certificate can be viewed upon request.

Q. How often should i have my carpets cleaned ?

A. According to the IICRC ( The Institution of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Citification ) you should aim to have your carpets cleaned at regular intervals. It varies from one house to the next, thing to consider are, how many people living in the house, the level of soiling, do people smoke in the house, how many pets are there ? When we arrive at your home to furnish you with a quotation, we will advise you on the exact routine you need for your household.

Heres a rough guide:

Two adults in an house = once every 18 months, two adults and a dog/cat = every 12 months, two adults, one dog/cat, and a small child = every 6 months.
